Who is responsible

Sliema Central Stay is managed by the property host shown on the apartment page. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to bernsap12@gmail.com.

Information used for a booking

When you request a stay, the website records your name, email address, country, mobile number, optional WhatsApp permission, stay dates, number of guests, message, booking status, payment status, and communications connected with the request.

This information is used to answer your request, prevent overlapping reservations, manage the stay, take or confirm payment, provide guest support, meet legal obligations, and handle disputes or refunds.

Optional website statistics

Anonymous statistics are recorded only after you select “Allow anonymous statistics.” They include a random session identifier, page visited, broad country, visit duration, and event time. The website does not store your IP address or precise location in its analytics records.

You may choose “Only essential” and continue using the booking page. Your choice is stored on your device so the website can remember it.

Other services

The website uses hosting and database services to operate, Resend to deliver emails, and Stripe when card payment is offered. Those providers process only the information needed to supply their services under their own security and privacy obligations.

The interactive Google map is not loaded until you choose to load it. Opening Google Maps or an external payment or booking service takes you to that provider’s website and privacy terms.

Storage and sharing

Booking records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to manage the stay, support accounting and legal duties, and resolve possible claims. Information is not sold. It may be shared with service providers, professional advisers, or public authorities when necessary or legally required.

Security and international services

Administrative access is protected separately from the public guest page. Payment credentials and email-service credentials are kept on the server and are not placed in browser code. Some service providers may process data outside Malta under their contractual and legal safeguards.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your information, or object to certain uses. You may withdraw optional consent at any time. Contact the host using the email above. You may also contact Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner.
